Returning to your training program following the fun and excitement of summer can be a very susceptible time for the body. This is a period where the body is not necessarily “out of shape” per se, but is in a deconditioned state, especially if time off is greater than 3 weeks. If training is not adjusted during the returning phase, it can lead to an increased risk of injury and/or illness.

In this webinar, we will discuss some key tips to help ensure your training sessions are properly periodized and structured. We will cover the importance of knowing your current stress level, how to specifically modify your acute variables/training, and having proper warm-up and recovery strategies.
