Nur-Sultan 2019 World Para Powerlifting Championships
Eleiko equips Nur-Sultan 2019 World Para Powerlifting Championships with custom-made solution.
We are proud to be a partner to World Para Powerlifting Organization to supply equipment for the Nur-Sultan 2019 World Championships in Kazakhstan. The event, which featured both a Junior and Senior Championships, saw nearly 500 athletes from more than 75 countries competing for gold.
The 2019 Nur-Sultan Championships are a mandatory qualifier for athletes aiming to compete at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. Participation from athletes was significantly higher than in previous years, the stakes high as athletes vie for a chance to represent their county at the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo. The WPPO also debuted a mixed team competition at this Championships. This new dynamic mixed team event was a separate event held on the last day of competition. Teams from the host Kazakhstan, along with teams from Brazil, Ukraine, Mexico, Iraq and Egypt took part in the new competition format.
The Eleiko para powerlifting competition solution was on full display with a custom design commemorating the Nur-Sultan Championships. The Eleiko team worked closely with the organizing committee to create the custom branding, delivering all ten benches and stations for athlete training and warmup, as well as the full competition set for the main event.
