Lifting Camp Halmstad 2023
The Swedish Weightlifting Federation and the Swedish Powerlifting Federation, in collaboration with Eleiko, are arranging Lifting Camp 2023!
The four-day camp will take place at the Eleiko Sports Center in Halmstad, Sweden, August 3-6, 2023, for youth lifters between the ages of 10-18 and include activities, new acquaintances and training at the Eleiko Sport Center.
For four days, 60 young people will gather in Halmstad, focusing on the barbell allowing young lifters to socialize and train, learning from some of the country's best youth coaches from both sports. The participants will stay in newly built cottages at Halmstad Golf Arena, train in Eleiko's premises and discover other wonderful activities in the summer city of Halmstad.
"Both the Powerlifting Federation and the Weightlifting Federation see this as a rewarding opportunity for children and young people in powerlifting and weightlifting to train, learn and have fun with each other. We also see it as a great opportunity for the federations to learn from each other and discuss among themselves", says Eddie Karlsson, Sports Consultant Swedish Powerlifting Federation.
