Strength Station Functional with Cables

Welcome to the Eleiko Strength Station 4-week Functional program, designed to showcase the versatility and effectiveness of cable-based exercises. Cables provide dynamic resistance that adapts to your movements, making them a highly functional tool for varied training. Cables allow for multiple angles of resistance, enabling users to target muscles in ways that free weights or fixed machines may not. By simply changing your body position or the height of the cable, you can create numerous exercise variations, maximizing muscle engagement and training specificity.

In this program, you’ll be incorporating a mix of cables (CB), barbells (BB), dumbbells (DB), kettlebells (KB), landmines, pull-up bars, and benches. Cable exercises offer unique movement freedom—whether you face the cable, have your back or sides to it, or adjust the height from low (L), mid (M), or high (H), you’ll continuously challenge your body with new movement patterns.

With three sessions per week over four weeks, this program will guide you through the fundamentals of cable training, helping you build strength, balance, and functional mobility. Be sure to start and end each session with a 5-10 minute warm-up and cool-down to optimize performance and recovery.
