Eleiko Öppen Collars win iF DESIGN AWARD 2021

Eleiko’s Öppen Collars have been named a winner in the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021 in the category Product Design.
Organized annually by the world’s oldest independent design institution, the iF Design Award is one of the most coveted awards in the design scene that honors design achievements in seven disciplines, ranging from product design to architecture and professional concept. This year, the jury consisting of 98 independent international design experts evaluated more than 10,000 submissions from over 52 countries, selecting Eleiko Öppen Collars as one of the winners.

About Eleiko Öppen Collars
Eleiko Öppen Collars secure weights in a way that saves time and improves performance while ensuring safety. The patent-pending design is a fresh perspective on a piece traditionally constructed as a full circle. The design eliminates the need for sliding collars the full length of the barbell sleeves when weights are loaded or unloaded. Simply place the collar adjacent to the weights and press the lever down to lock it into place. The lever is easily engaged with a finger enabling single-handed operation. Collars stick to the rack with integrated magnets, leaving them easily accessible for quick weight changes during training.
