2018 IPF World Open Powerlifting Championchips
2018 IPF World Open Powerlifting Championchips returns to Sweden.
Eleiko worked closely with the Swedish Powerlifting Federation to put the event together, providing logistics support, helping with venue design and layout, supplying equipment and supporting the marketing and communications efforts to promote the IPF World Open Championships.
Eleiko was thrilled to see the 2018 IPF World Open Powerlifting Championships in our hometown of Halmstad, Sweden, the first time the Championships was held in Sweden since 1994. More than 350 athletes from over 40 countries competed for gold in the 48th Men's and 39th Women's Open IPF World Championships.
Eleiko worked closely with the Swedish Powerlifting Federation to put the event together, providing logistics support, helping with venue design and layout and supporting the marketing and communications efforts to promote the event. The set up included 12,000 kg of equipment, 4000 kg of which were discs. It was an exciting week of competitions with many new records set as the world’s strongest athletes competed.
In addition to supplying equipment for the championships, Eleiko was honoured to host several events including the IPF Annual Congress in the auditorium of our new corporate headquarters, space specifically created to be a hub in the global strength community.
