Eleiko Steel
Eleiko Steel is our Swedish steel formulation, balanced for strength and flexibility. Hot-rolled and heat-treated at 900°C, it’s quenched and tempered for purity and resilience. The result is a fine-grained, homogenous microstructure with minimal impurities. It distributes stress evenly to eliminate weak points.
Eleiko Steel is made from 97% recycled steel and forged using fossil-free energy — reducing CO2 emissions by 80% compared to the global steel average. With exceptional resistance to wear, corrosion and fatigue, it ensures our bars perform year after year.

Eleiko Knurling
Eleiko knurling is finely tuned for Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, and hybrid training. Four knurling profiles match different training volumes and styles, creating a stronger connection between lifter and bar. The IPF Powerlifting Competition Bar features a 1.5 Power knurling, a pronounced volcano pattern for maximum grip during powerlifting.

Optimal Rotation System™
Eleiko’s Optimal Rotation System™ ensures smooth and controlled sleeve rotation, tuned to your lifting style. Fast and responsive needle roller bearings for Olympic weightlifting, stable graphite-infused bronze bushings for powerlifting, or a hybrid system for functional training. This bar features self-lubricating graphite-infused bronze bushings that provide stable rotation, minimising instability under extreme loads.
Fatigue Resistance System™
Redesigned (patent-pending) sleeve geometry and shaft system reduce stress where it matters most: just inside the sleeve. A shortened shaft, self-locking screw, and hardened washers keep construction tight, minimising axial play and internal movement. These changes keep bars tight, stable and quiet – even after millions of drops.
Sleeve Protection System
Our sleeve protection system extends bar life and keeps the rotation smooth. The dustproof seals, patent-pending Dual Lock system, and recessed precision end caps form a triple defense against chalk, debris, and moisture. Together, they keep contaminants out and lock the bar lubrication in. The result is reliable rotation that responds consistently to your lifts, year after year.

Easier Bar Identification and Selection
Eleiko’s visual system simplifies bar selection with colour-coded end caps and ID rings. Specifications are laser-etched on the flange facing the lifter, allowing quick bar identification from any storage or rack position. Gold-coloured accents signify competition status — instantly recognisable on competition platforms and in high-performance training halls.

Made in Sweden
Every Eleiko bar is built in Halmstad, Sweden, from raw steel to final assembly. By keeping the full process in-house, we ensure each bar performs with the consistency and quality lifters count on.

Quality Assurance
Each Eleiko bar is checked by hand. We inspect the steel, calibrate the weight, test the rotation, radial and axial play, and verify the knurling, all to exacting standards. Each bar gets a serial number for full traceability and is signed by the craftsperson who built it and the one who tested it.

Caring for your bar
Eleiko bars need minimal maintenance. Brush off chalk after sessions to keep your knurling feeling sharp. Time for service? The simple end cap design gives easy access, no special tools needed.
