Eleiko, a world leader in strength equipment, has partnered with NOC*NSF to become the preferred supplier for Ookmeer, a key training facility for TeamNL in Amsterdam Nieuw-West. This collaboration plays a crucial role in preparing athletes for elite competitions, including the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Sportcentrum Ookmeer is a central training hub for TeamNL’s baseball, softball, and gymnastics programs. It not only serves as a daily training ground but also as a development center for young athletes, aiming to foster both their athletic and social growth. The challenge was to provide state-of-the-art training equipment that meets the specific needs of these diverse sports while enhancing the training efficiency and performance of the athletes.

Eleiko equipped Sportcentrum Ookmeer with a variety of strength equipment designed specifically for baseball, softball, and gymnastics – tailored to the rigorous demands of Olympic-level training. At the heart of the sports centre is a custom-coloured, orange XF 80 Rig, tailored to fit the specific space and training requirements of the athletes – boasting eight pull-up stations and four squat stations, complete with an array of attachments and accessories to support diverse fitness and strength training needs. Complementing the rig are a range of Eleiko bars, plates, and a variety of training tools for the ultimate lifting experience.

The introduction of Eleiko’s equipment at Sportcentrum Ookmeer has significantly improved training efficiency and athlete performance.
