Pure Muscles Gym
In a response to the Covid-19 lock down in April 2020, after only being open for a matter of weeks Pure Muscles Gym reimagined their offering at the Walthamstow facility.
The relationship between Pure Muscles Gym and Eleiko came to fruition at the start of the first UK lockdown, due to Covid-19, in April 2020.
After only being open for only a matter of weeks, the gym wanted to re-invest and develop its offering at the Walthamstow facility. The first phase saw the UK’s largest range of Evo dumbbells installed, followed by a Classic half rack loaded with custom- branded IWF discs and a selection of bars for the gym floor.
As the UK continued to dip in and out of restrictions, owners Imran and Naj, were working tirelessly behind the scenes to develop a space for the future. They planned to utilise the land next to the gym, to create a further training facility – opening up an outdoor training solution for their members.
Designs went back and forth, eventually landing on a courtyard featuring eight racks with integrated platforms in wet pour, a branded turf track, a rig including cargo nets and monkey bars and all functional free weights to accompany the stations. The shutter doors around the perimeter of the training space creates flexibility throughout the seasons and allows for outdoor training to commence ahead of indoor as COVID restrictions are lifted.
