Athletik Docks in Hamburg is a personal training club which expertly blends a focus on quality, personal training and creating a welcoming atmosphere in a modern, loft inspired studio to provide customers with an outstanding experience.

The concept of Athletik Docks® is based on sports science findings and years of experience. Programs are developed on the belief that every body has special requirements and each goal requires a tailored program. Proper nutrition, rest and regeneration, and the activities clients participate in outside of the training studio are incorporated into the gym's holistic approach to working with its clients. The Athletik Docks team are there with their clients at every step helping to ensure goals are met and that clients are motivated and supported along the way.

We first met the Athletik Docks® founders, Nima & Bijan Mashagh, at Fibo 2017 and soon after started working together to get their project underway. The gym has an unprecedented focus on quality and wanted equipment that would reflect this. According to gym founders, there was no alternative to Eleiko.

For Athletik Docks, Eleiko helps differentiate their facility and helps with both their member and trainer acquisition and retention. The facility routinely advertises the quality of their Eleko Equipment to its clients. More importantly, the equipment is a key differentiator for sports scientist looking for the right gym to work at. They feel it clearly sends a message to those who know the brand.

Athletik Docks® aim to provide personalized training experience in a unique comfortable environment. While all personal trainers have a sports science background, the studio design looks more like an industrial loft than a typical gym. Combine this with a family atmosphere and you understand what makes Athletik Docks unique. Nima and Eleiko Sales Manager Jan worked together closely to determine the best strength solutions for Athletik Docks' needs. Their strong partnership was based on close communication that turned into a true friendship. The solutions Eleiko provided included a galvanized outdoor Rig, along with Eleiko bars, discs, and platforms. The free weight area was outfitted with an Eleiko Classic Line GHD, Benches, Dumbbells, and Kettlebells. An area for sled training was created as well, and the space was outfitted with several strength machines such as the Atlantis Multi Tower and Leg Combination machine.

Athletik Docks® places a high value on individuality, this extends to the design of the studio, in the selection of the equipment and in the training with its customers. Clients train without exception with sports scientists who are eager not to bind customers but to achieve their goals as quickly as possible. In January 2019, Nima expands the Athetik Docks with an additional 200 square meters and has once again selected Eleiko & Atlantis as the equipment supplier.
