Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023

The Special Olympics World Games is the world's largest inclusive sporting event where athletes with intellectual and multiple disabilities compete. We are proud to be part of this international and diverse sports festival and are pleased to support the powerlifting competitions of the Special Olympics World Games 2023 in Berlin with our equipment.

#UnbeatableTogether is the motto of the event, which took place in Berlin from June 17th to 25th. 7,000 athletes from all over the world came together to compete in 26 sports and to campaign for more recognition and social participation for people with intellectual disabilities.

As an official supporter of the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, Eleiko provided the powerlifting competitions with professional equipment to offer the athletes an unforgettable competition experience. In addition to the Powerlifting Competition Set on the competition stage, Eleiko equipment was also used in the training and warm-up areas, including the Eleiko Training Combo Rack, the Performance Powerlifting Bar and the IPF Competition Plates.

The 9-day sporting event was a great celebration of sport and inclusion, marked by an incomparable atmosphere and deeply moving moments. With the enthusiastic support of a captivated audience, the athletes brought their best performances to the stage, accompanied by cheers and exuberant joy.
