2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and Para Games

The 2014 Glasgow Games were the largest multi-sport event ever held in Scotland with around 4,950 athletes from 71 different nations and territories competing in 18 different sports. Eleiko supplied the equipment for the Weightlifting and Para Powerlifting events.
Eleiko and its team of industry veterans worked closely with the Glasgow2014 Commonwealth Games and Para Games Organizing Committee to supply the Games with our highest quality and competition certified weightlifting and para powerlifting equipment.
For the weightlifting event, Eleiko provided one fully equipped competition station, ten fully equipped warm-up stations and 40 fully equipped training stations. The equipment was delivered with custom branding to promote the event and meet the requirements of the organising committee
For the Para Powerlifting event, Eleiko supplied one fully equipped competition station, ten fully equipped warm-up stations and ten fully equipped training stations. All equipment was certified for competition in accordance with IWF and IPC WPPO certification standards.
Eleiko also installed and removed all equipment along with supervising and overlooking the training venue and field of play before and during games time. All were done by our highly skilled technical team.
