A Stronger World
We aim to have a positive impact by reducing our environmental footprint and helping build stronger people and communities.
What Sustainability Means to Eleiko
Sustainability is about fulfilling present demands without compromising the needs of future generations. It’s about balancing economic growth, environmental care, and social well-being.
A sustainable company takes responsibility for its impact and is transparent about its actions and performance.
A sustainable product is built for durability, longevity, and circularity — designed to be used and passed down for generations.
Sustainability Framework
We work to positively impact our industry, communities, and customers by continuously monitoring and managing our impact on society and on the environment. To guide us, we follow a framework of four key pillars along with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact.
Designing Products for Performance and Longevity
Products must be safe, long-lasting, and built to perform — designed with the user experience in mind. For us, durability is sustainability. This principle guides our research and development, ensuring every product meets the highest standards.
Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Reducing our climate footprint is a responsibility we take seriously. The biggest opportunities for reduction lie in our material sourcing, production processes, and transportation. There is a lot of work to be done, but we are committed to the challenge.
Building Strong Communities
Health and sustainability go hand in hand — strong individuals and communities are essential for a sustainable future. Every year, we engage in local and global initiatives through social initiatives and financial support, putting our values into action.
Creating a Safe, Healthy, and Inspiring Workplace
We foster a supportive company culture where employees thrive. Transparency, respect, and well-being are key to attracting and keeping top talent — because a strong team builds A Stronger World.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals
Our sustainability framework aims to support the achievement of the following targets outlined in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
