Vondelgym is a boutique multi-disciplined facility that offers CrossFit, kickboxing, (hot) yoga, running and fitness in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. The team is dedicated to creating an inviting inclusive space that offers members a wide variety of opportunities to work on their health and fitness and build a strong community.
“Strong in this time of day is so much more than muscle. The way we build Vondelgym is really like a community. It should be accessible to everybody because everybody has the right to become stronger, feel better and be more relaxed,” said Arie Boomsma. Vondelgym has a long partnership working together with Eleiko, one that goes beyond supplying precision-crafted strength equipment to partnering on events and workshops to build the weightlifting expertise of its members.
With this latest project in Rotterdam, Arie Boomsma, Vondelgym’s owner, again worked with the Eleiko team to create a world-class training space. The project included several strength zones, including a row of strength stations using Eleiko’s new Prestera Rack series. 5 Prestera Power Racks provide dedicated strength training spaces for members. The Power Racks were equipped with Eleiko XF Bars and Sport Training Plates and an array of attachments to deliver training variety and storage. A dedicated free weight training area that features Eleiko Benches with the new PUR cushions and Vulcano Disc Dumbbells complements the strength stations. A fully Eleiko equipped CrossFit space is designed with a custom-designed XF 80 rig and a selection of Eleiko XF Bars and Bumper plates.
