Core Gym Club, Stockholm

In the new district Vegastaden, south of Stockholm, you will find the Core Gym Club, which opened in September 2022. With a fully equipped indoor gym, an outdoor rig, padel and running tracks on the roof, this unique facility definitely stands out from the crowd.

At the Core Gym Club, members can train with free weights, racks and rigs, benches and other accessories from Eleiko. In addition, they can participate in several different group training sessions such as yoga and train with cardio and strength in machines from our Partner Brands; Atlantis and Precor.

I know from experience that free weights are used more often today, and therefore we have invested in several Prestera Racks fully equipped with free weights. Per Karlsson, Core Gym Club's founder, had two clubs near Stockholm. Per previously worked as a physical education teacher, he noticed a downward trend in children and adolescents becoming increasingly sedentary. Based on that experience, he changed course in 2011, trained as a PT, and then started his first gym in Tungelsta in 2012, and the Core chain was born. Ten years later, Per opened his second gym in Västerhaninge, followed by the facility in Vegastaden in 2022.
