Eleiko Facility Design Team·3 Min Lesedauer·Case Studies

A unique vision brought to life through a strong partnership and strength expertise.

Annette K is a unique project, which aimed to create a gym on a boat with a wide variety of premium services. The project faced several technical challenges, which required tailor-made solutions to accommodate different training concepts such as functional training, strength, weightlifting, and rehabilitation.

Annette K needed a partner capable of creating unique technically viable aligned to their vision. They valued premium material quality and wanted a partner to help them create a complete offering in an atypical place like a boat.

One of the unique features of Annette K is the very comprehensive range of services offered. The gym boasts a training and performance center, a health center, a relaxation area, and a restaurant. Additionally, many activities are available such as an Olympic Swimming pool, a Running track, a Biking room, a Classroom for yoga, HiiT, and a fitness center with cardio machines.

In the fitness zone, Eleiko brought expertise to the free weight area, proposing a tailor-made solution creating distinct spaces for different training styles. For the Cross-training zone, we designed a Rig with integrated storage that fit with the boat architecture, supporting multipurpose functional training for individual or group sessions.

Areas dedicated to different disciplines in strength training ensure the facility can meet members’ varied needs and attract growing numbers of members prioritizing strength training as part of their health and wellness journey. The dedicated Weightlifting area was equipped with premium plates, barbells and platforms outfitted for Olympic lifting, while the general strength and conditioning included fully equipped Prestera Half Racks, Eleiko Benches, Kettlebells, Dumbbells, and more. To support the growing interest in powerlifting, we also provided an IPF Competition Combo Rack to give lifters the ultimate training experience.

“The Annette K. project was born from the idea of coming together in a unique living space that combines sports, health, dining, and celebration. Our wish was to design a facility that places movement at the heart of athletic practice, following the logic of flow and expertise levels. From the very beginning, we wanted to work with Eleiko to assist us in the design of the space. The company's history, values, and the quality of its equipment made Eleiko an ideal partner. The professionalism of their teams, their availability, and the trust they placed in our project were clearly major assets in the realization of our spaces. This collaboration allowed us to overcome technical and aesthetic challenges, and, most importantly, to meet our inclusive and innovative vision of sports practice.”
