Eleiko Equips 2024 IWF World Championships in Manama, Bahrain with Bespoke Competition Equipment Solution.
Eleiko has been selected as the official equipment provider for the 2024 IWF World Championships, taking place in Manama, Bahrain, from December 4 to 15. In collaboration with the Bahrain Weightlifting Federation, Eleiko will deliver a complete, custom-branded competition solution for the prestigious event.
The bespoke equipment solution will feature a fully equipped, custom-branded competition podium, 14 fully equipped, custom-branded warm-up stations, and 50 training stations, ensuring athletes have access to optimal competition environments at all stages of the event.
Bringing Bahrain’s rich heritage to life, the competition logo features the Sail Monument, symbolizing Bahrain's unique maritime legacy. Historically a central trade hub, Bahrain, known as 'The Pearl of the Gulf,' is represented by the monument’s sails and central pearl. The logo merges this legacy with the spirit of the World Championships, replacing the pearl with weightlifting plates.

The World Weightlifting Championships will be held for the first time in Bahrain from December 4 to 15, 2024. This milestone follows the signing of an agreement between the Bahrain Weightlifting Federation and the International Weightlifting Federation earlier on this year.
